5th Gen Limited X-REAS Leak - Options?

One question: do you know anyone that has the Fox 2.0? There is a drastic price difference between the two setups, and the boss would be much happier if the lower price setup will work.
I might pull the trigger on these today. The adjustable Ohlins made a huge difference on my Ducati.

Old thread, but couldn't find one that's more up to date.

Dealership told me on Thursday 4-13-17, "front struts are leaking," not bad, but leaking, also "need to replace center control absorber tubes when replacing front struts," that's on a 2011 LTD with X-REAS, and 95k miles on it. Quote is around $1800.00.
I think all I need do is pull out my Platinum Extended Toyota Warranty and make sure this is covered with no out of pocket costs for me. From reading some of these threads, I've seen some guys come across leaks at 40 to 50k miles, so I guess I stretched that out a bit longer. Usually, as long as I'm in warranty I let the dealership do my maintenance, so they are the ones who caught the leak. I'll let you guys know the price difference since this thread is 18 months old. :thumb3:

Thinking about Bilstein 5100s all around, but can you do just a shock absorber swap and keep the stock springs on the Limited 5th gen?

Edit: Yes, you certainly can. The car drives the same to me honestly. I put the front shocks at 0.85 and the car is pretty much level.

What to do about my leaking X Reas shocks on 2010 4Runner

I have a 2010 Limited 4Runner with the front X Reas shocks starting to sound damaged-Do I have to replace all the shocks or just the front ones that show they are leaking.
