Ahh the Quad Cities, the gateway to Chicago for the drug dealers! I live on the opposite side of Iowa, in Sioux City.
I don't follow baseball, but I do know that the Yankees buys all their talent... It's interesting that Japan's national past time is baseball, I saw a few clips of baseball games over there and they are really into the game. I think for a while, baseball was a dying professional sport in the US, but it's making a comeback. No stats on that, just my opinion. And I don't like how more and more stadiums are being named after companies, it loses its charm.
I had to look at the picture again, I thought you were wearing a man purse...but it's just a sling. If it was a purse, it would have looked good on you :behindsofa:

I'll play. Here are pics of our two dog children, Echo is 1.5 years old and Gunner is 2.5 years. They're actually half siblings a year apart, both have the same dad. As you can see, they put up with a lot....for treats of course.

This is Willow. She is some sort of wonderful golden/lab/hound mix. Yes, the group that rescued her found her abandoned and tied off to a willow tree. So the name stuck. After being extremely shy and nervous, she has really come into her own in the last six months and is thoroughly enjoying life with chew bones, head scratches and a new 4Runner to ride around in!

On the first birthday, the tradition is the birthday kid chooses an item and it would determine their future. Back in the day they took it seriously, these days we do it out of tradition 
It was fun to see what he chose, and we will see if actually comes true.
The items are a wooden fish (wooden percussion instrument used in Buddhist chants), John Deere tractor, robot, camera, GI Joe, Toyota 1st gen Tacoma, firetruck, K9 police car, yellow ninja, lighter, surgical forceps, two Buddha pictures, cuticle nipper, and the Burger King mascot.
As you can see, some things we just throw in there for fun I was hoping he would choose the yellow ninja. How many people can say "my son is a ninja"?
And he chose...
