Um, no. No, it's not. You obviously don't understand my argument. I'll say it again....2009 was an anomoly. Throw it out because it doesn't even factor into any analysis. If you don't believe me, then show me similar numbers from 2008 to 2009 in any generation of the 4Runner.
More people want the 5th gen than the 4th gen? Using your warped logic that might be true, but in reality the 5th gen will NEVER match the numbers of the 4th gen. Think about it--for the 1st model year, the 5th gen is way behind the first model year of the 4th gen. Trust me, the 2011 model year will yield similar results. By the end of the 5th gen's run, it will not have sold anywhere near the units of the 4th gen.
You can leave your "ugly" comments to someone that cares....numbers are numbers and they don't lie. The 5th gen isn't exactly off to a stellar start.
