5th gen SR5 max air fan speed

I own a 2014 SR5 with standard a/c. My question is this, when I turn the temp control dial to max a/c should the fan motor that blows the cold air go to max speed or high speed like my 04 tr4 did. My 2014 switches to reciculate but does not set the fan speed to high, is this the way the a/c is now?

It uses the fan speed according to how efficient the a/c can be at the time. After first starting the truck won't be the most efficient time. If it's really hot, I just manually put the fan on high then I put it in auto. I have a limited by the way but I'm pretty sure the a/c system is the same with the exception of the auto climate control.

With the manual A/C system on the SR5 and Trail models the MAX A/C setting only turns on the A/C and switches the system to recirculate. You still have to control the fan speed yourself.

Anyway to prevent the recirculate option from coming on? It happens when I'm not using max ac
