I just sold my 1 ton dodge and am just driving my 2011 Trail Edition 4Runner. I have a little 93 Toyota 4x4 pickup with a tow bar I can attach to my ARB bumper that's on it and it pulled perfectly behind my Dodge. Today I hooked it up to my 4Runner and towed it around my neighborhood and it didn't feel right. My 4Runner felt like it was, for lack of a better word, drifting and it did not feel stable. I was only doing 40 mph at the most and it did not feel safe.
I just put on 265/70/17 load range E Duratracs this morning and was hoping it would give the 4Runner a firmer stance and ride but I am really questioning what's going on at this point as I have never had an issue with towing that little truck
Any ideas?!?
