6/10 inch led bar for backup light

Looking for suggestions of where to mount a small light bar or dually for reverse lighting. We have dark windows and it's almost impossible to see out of and my wife hates the simple idea of rolling down the window. We have deleted the roof rack, I was thinking tucked up with the rear wiper area or down low behind the bumper cover somewhere. Suggestions appreciated.

How bright are you wanting it light up the rear? I've had cars with 20% tints and by simply changing out the OEM reverse lights it made a significant improvement. It was by no means a spotlight back there but very helpful. Bulbs were only $30 and a quick install. Perhaps you can try that first before exploring more complex solutions.

I picked up these lights from Jasper Offroad. They will mount flush to the bottom of the bumper using two existing bolts under there. They are cheap and bright. I have dragged them through mud, fully submerged them, hit them with a pressure washer and dragged them over stumps with no issue.

6" Slim 18w LED Pod - LED Lighting

They are out of stock now but might be available elsewhere. I couldn't see spending much money on a light to put in that location as they have a good chance of being ripped right off. I will try and get pics tomorrow before I head out of town.

I like what you went with there! However, the departure angle on the 4Runner isn't the best especially without a lift so be cautious you don't ruin the mount or wiring on an obstacle. I've personally gotten hung up on the spare/trailer hitch area a couple times... nothing extreme, some loose dirt I depressed but I think it would definitely be enough to potentially ruin your lighting setup.

Would you mind posting some more detailed pics/writeup of how you set up these twin duallies?

Thanks, it's only sees mild softroading down dirt roads mainly now, lift is in the future for sure. Love the amount of light they put out though and thanks for the heads up.
