according to http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc, your tires are 1" bigger then stock diameter which means ~1/2" height increased. So stock will probably be 33 and 35.5. I guess that means my truck is 7" taller then stock?

Yep.

The numbers you had were right for 17" rims.

You can get OME for around $750, body lift is about $150 IIRC, rear spacer can't be more than $100. So I would guess more around $1000, probably a little more, but you are forgetting one of the most expensive parts, the tires, which would probably be around $800.

well yea but also the install on the body lift. he could probably do the OME and spacer lift himself. but i dont know about the body lift
