60K Maintenance

So I've searched and found most of the items that I will need to be performing for the 60k on my 4runner (AKA wife's grocery getter). In conjunction I'm having the rear brake pads changed out with the same factory ones (I changed the front ones at 40k with Hawk ceramics). At 40k I also did the gatorback belt and new plugs.

Let me know if I'm missing anything:

Oil and filter change
Differential Fluid
Tranny Fluid (T4)
Anit-Freeze flush
Power Steering fluid
Grease drive shaft
Re-torque propeller shaft bolt

Only questions are:

1. Do I get the tranny fluid at the stealership or can I get it at autozone, etc?
2. Same question for differential fluid.
3. Do I need to do spark plugs again at some point?

I would add a fuel filter, air filter, brake fluid change and cabin air filter to your list. I believe the trans. fluid is dealer only, the gear oil is any quality 75w90 (I recommend synthetic). If the plugs are iridium's they're good for 100K. V8's use iridium plugs, I'm not sure about the V6.

Yup I did Iridum plugs at 40k. Expensive, but worth it. I take it they're good until 100k or good for 100k (in which case I could go to 140k).

Brake fluid, I forgot about in addition to the fuel filter.

I have a K&N so no replacement needed.

Do I really have to replace the cabin filter? What would that accomplish?

HAve to - no. But you can get better airflow from the HVAC system and reduced smells. I find it gets dirty and needs replacing every 6-12 months. You can change it yourself in a couple of minutes, and here are threads that tell you how to do it inexpensively.
