687 miles on '12 TE and 1st problem...

Ok, so I got in the truck last night, started it up and noticed that three warning lights stay lit on the dash: the check engine light, the TRAC OFF light and the green multi-terrain light was flashing. Turned the truck off and restarted in a few minutes and all three lights remained lit. I've never had these lights 'warn' me before and with less than 700 miles on the vehicle I'm a little perplexed. Oh, and the green ECO light does not come on at any point now while driving.

Any ideas before I drive an hour to the dealer to address this issue?

I had a similar issue. They have to re-calibrate some of those systems. They weren't able to tell me what could have caused it. Mine happened at 30k or so though.
 
This might sound silly, but make sure your gas cap is tight.

It can cause issues if not on tight.... Yes, it's true.

If not the issue, take back to dealer.

yes it does sound silly.... you might get a check engine light but not all the other things the OP mentioned
 
It's the dam gremlins I'm tellin ya. You will have to completely destroy the truck and buy a new one to get rid of them.....be safe.
 
It's certainly not the gas cap. Oh well, looks as if a trip back to the dealer is in order. Sure doesn't leave me with a warm and fuzzy feeling for this to happen 5 weeks after delivery...

When you have a problem of this sort after a modification, I think it would be logical to first go for the easiest cause... instead of making it look like crappy vehicle quality.

and least importantly the ECO light can be turned on and off from the dash. push the trip reset until you come to the option. or at least that's how it works on my '10....

Edit: never mind its probably related to the other issues at hand since OP said it just NOW doesn't light up...

IF it were me before I spent half a day I would disconnect and reconnect the battery (A Hard Re-Boot, if you will) these rigs are so dependent on computer function a Reset is worth a try IMO. It isn't going to hurt anything.
You just lose some pre-sets etc.
Obviously, up to you.

The lift and tires were installed 400 miles ago, so I'm pretty confident that's not the problem. I considered disconnecting the battery, but that seems a little ridiculous on a vehicle with 700 miles. Additionally, in my experience problems like this don't just appear once and then are gone forever. This will just be the FIRST time it happens before it is addressed and properly corrected.

I'm going to the dealer this afternoon and will report back what has been determined. Thanks for all for all of the suggestions...

Where have I made it look crappy vehicle quality? I understand vehicles today are more complicated than ever, which is why I'm only mildly annoyed at this issue. Feel free to retract your claws, Sally...
 
Just offering some constructive observation, You asked for suggestions and then call them "Rediculous" when somebody stops what they are doing and tries to take the time to help. Really?

Not true. They make more lights come on because people were ignoring the check engine light. Most likely it is the gas cap. On 4th gens the dash lights up like this when the cap is loose.
 
So you think "mileage" has anything to do with, or better said, the only thing that will instigate or propagate an electronic failure? Really? You might want to research that a bit more.

Doing a "reboot" takes about 3 minutes. Maybe 4 if you are unfamiliar with a wrench. It might of worked. And as Rubicon stated, you did ask for suggestions.....at the very least you could have simply ignored the suggestion vs. slamming the person trying to help. It is those kind of comments that people remember. So the next time you ask for help, folks may not be so forthcoming.....just saying. Be safe.
 
It they stretched an ABS line when installing the lift that can cause a false reading, You may also need to have the various sensors calibrated. Heading into a meeting here so I can't do the search for you, but check into that.

Not true. Trac and other lights come on because they are disabled. When there is a problem with an engine related code. The system can't safely control the other fictions like traction control. I see vehicles come in with tire light, maints light, and air bag all on at once and they don't wanna address it.
