Not true. Trac and other lights come on because they are disabled. When there is a problem with an engine related code. The system can't safely control the other fictions like traction control. I see vehicles come in with tire light, maints light, and air bag all on at once and they don't wanna address it.

Easy, that was a light-hearted comment aimed at being overly sensitive. But I'll make sure to run all future sarcastic comments thru you to be sure you're not offended.

To the original problem, it turns out it WAS the gas cap. Apparently (according to the tech) it was allowing a vacuum leak to enter the tank. He replaced the cap and cleared the codes so all should be fine.

This might sound silly, but make sure your gas cap is tight.

It can cause issues if not on tight.... Yes, it's true.

It's certainly not the gas cap. Oh well, looks as if a trip back to the dealer is in order. Sure doesn't leave me with a warm and fuzzy feeling for this to happen 5 weeks after delivery...

Good to know that a simple gas cap undertightened can cause all these lights (I thought it would throw only a CEL 100% of the time). If it happens to anyone else here, we know what to check out first.
