7 pin wire and isolator location

Trying to locate the wire (10 ga) that runs from the truck 7-pin to the factory isolator.
Where is the wire and where is the isolator located?

Maybe you could expound a bit wrt what you need... are you referring to the 'Electrical hitch harness' at the rear bumper? The cable that connects to a trailer isn't 10ga but a multi core insulated cable having several (depending on the type of plug) 16 or 18 gauge wires running through it that connect to each pin. I don't know what you mean when you say that you're "Trying to locate the wire"... Please clarify your post!

Sure.

In the 7 pin trailer turn, brake, stop etc connector at the rear bumper there lives a larger (am guessing and hoping its 10 ga, but since its Toyota it may be 12 ga.) wire. On most trailer or towing vehicle wiring diagrams it is labeled 12v or sometimes is called battery charge or battery power. When the engine is running, it is 12v hot.
Anyway this wire travels from the rear to somewhere in the engine bay where it connects to a isolator. This isolator is switched. That is to say, when the ign is turned off the isolator prevents power, from a load on the trailer, from draining the starting battery.
I am trying to locate the isolator so I can remove it, disable it, by pass it, short it to ground or otherwise keep it from it preventing 12v from going the rear when the ign is switched off. I want the wire to be always hot.
