Thank you . I didn't think I would like it since it's so rare to see.. but I do. Low profile and it tucks the winch in nice and tight. I just ordered a rear frame support from Davezoffroad for the convenience of not having to make it.... Canceled the order though, and I highly recommend never buying anything from that guy. Going to box it myself and build a new bumper also.. post some pics of yours when you finish it

The 3rd gen is crazy. Atlas tcase, 40s, etc... still needs a cage and a v8 but he wont sell it to me lol. His instagram is don_crawla619.

I can't imagine that part being hard to make. Definitely get after it yourself!

Haven't really done much lately and tds is right around the corner.

This week I swapped out the rock lights with a replacement set. Last ones were a "bad batch" and went to shit on the first night run. Now I have "cool white" aka "almost blue" ones to get me by for tds, until he gets regular white in stock.

Got started on the bracket for the rear seat. Pita but I think I have a decent plan that wont look too silly. I made a bracket to attach to the stock holes on the sides, drop some tabs off of that and same for the front. I'll try to keep the stock mounts in the front so I can lift the seat forward if I ever need to (I wont ever need to.).

Flipping a coin on the rear axle swap. I have about 1 week to do it and if something goes wrong I'll miss my trip. With that will also be lspv delete, summit proportioning valve at the mc, new upper shock mount (which I have already from lowrangeoffroad) and lower shock mounts, and remove the half diff armor to put on the full one. All that along with rerouting some brake lines.. *flip coin again*

early on I noticed you didn't have a center console or trim around the shifters...so where are the switches for the rear window and wiper? Not that you need them now.

I have my center console, but no trim around the shifters (cant find one).. my switches are in the center console, but you're right ... they're pointless right now lol.

Really nice ride you have there. I would love to be able to have a 1st gen like that for a toy. Following your build there is only one thing I would have done differently. I would have used Hella H4 headlights and 80/90w bulbs. Don't worry I am not criticising- It looks fantastic :cheers:

Ive been researching headlights (h4, led, hid) off and on for a month or two now. Id like to upgrade to something with a "less yellow" of a color.

These headlights work, hold a beam, and throw it very far down the road. Post a link to the ones you're referring to.

Pressed for time, finally got the seats in and the jack relocated. Was a pita for sure . Kinda had to plan as I go with the seat bracket and then there was contact with the seat frame... flap wheel took care of that. Should keep my dog nice and comfortable and I used pins for the rear. Allows me to quickly lift the seat forward for storage underneath.

Got rid of the hunk of shit lspv and added a wilwood valve. So much cleaner back there now, and smoother braking.

Edit: these lights suck lol (dot version). The beam goes down/right and the cutoff line looks like a camp fire.

Going to give the euro version a try (003427861).

How easy was that shock mount? Is it still stock length shocks? Im lookin at doing that next on mine to go with my OME medium leafs.

Not bad. Just cut off and added new lower mounts, the top brace, bolt em up. They're 14".
