Hey guys. I'm looking to buy another runner but I'm just getting into the builds and everything. The one I am looking at supposedly already has over $10k into it. I just want to see what a little more educated mind thinks about it. Is it a good deal? Has 150,000 total miles.
If I could figure out how to post a damn picture I would.
But this is what it has into it:
1985 Toyota 4runner Moab ready
Rebuilt engine, 13,000 miles since rebuild
Dual transfer cases using Marlin Crawler adapter
CV rear driveshaft from GRS Drivelines
Long-slip front driveshaft from High Angle Driveline
5.29 Yukon gears, Detroit Locker in rear axle
5.29 Yukon gears, Lock-Right locker, Longfield birfields in front axle, with diff armor
Crossover steering with IFS steering box
Hydraulic assist power steering
Ladder-style traction bars front and rear
Budbuilt low-profile transfer case crossmember, uses both transfer case mounts and includes skidplate
All-Pro lift springs – 4” front, 3” rear
Long-travel Bilstein 5125 shocks on extended mounts front and rear
Tubular rear bumper with corner protection and receiver-style tow point
Tubular rocker panel protectors
Tubular front bumper with D-ring attachments, winch mount, and two Hella 500 lights
Champion 8000 lb winch
17” Pro Comp Steel Wheels
35 x 12.50 Maxxis Trepador radial tires
One 35” Trepador as a spare matching wheel
Quick-release mudflaps
Alpine Stereo with iPod and aux hook ups
Remote 6x9 speakers great for putting out on the roof for camp tunes
Not looking for trades
Serious inquiries only please
Has some rock rash on the body
This is a fantastic out of the box ready to roll rockcrawler, save money by buying a prebuilt crawler that was built right.
That is his add. What are your thoughts??
