Hi everyone, I'm new here & it looks like a great site. My question is has anyone heard of the rear window motor assembly from a older Dodge station wagon fitting in the '88 (2nd gen.?)4Runners. I've heard this a couple of times but can't remember what model as I didn't pay much attention cause I didn't need one then. :bonk: Well I've had my tailgate apart & the window out & taken the sprocket & welded new teeth on &ground them to fit, did this a couple of times in 2 yrs. Just did it again with stick welder instead of mig to see if it lasts longer.
