When I got the runner, the PO had cut and spliced some wires to make the windows roll down. Didn't quite work how he intended. I found the right configuration of the wires, and the windows barely worked. But all seemed in order.
After searching I found the advice to clean the contacts of the switches. I took them all out and the problem seemed obvious.
Got them all cleaned and back together, now the passenger side won't work at all. I broke the window lock button in the process is disassembly, but it still clicks and can me manipulated. Nothing from the driver side control or passenger side control will work the pass window.
So I pulled the door control module and it's warm where the little copper wound thing is. But nothing is jumping out at me as far as what's wrong.
Am I missing something? Is there something in the re assembly that I could have done wrong?
