89 4 runner NEED HELP

My truck makes this noise when I drive it that sounds like a card in a bike spoke. its gets faster as I accelerate. Is that a lifter thing or something else? I heard theres some kind of fuel thing that also makes that noise any advice please

Where is the noise coming from in the truck (front, mid, rear)?

first questions-
does it make the noise with the hood up and in the driveway (ie- is it an engine noise?) when giving it throttle?

is it a clank or a tick? high or low noise?
and yes, what section of truck is it coming from? cab, engine bay, underside middle/front/rear/left or right only?

you may need someone outside to listen (that knows what they are hearing) while you drive by, or side by side on road.

Its a loud tick not a clank or like a rod knocking. Its coming from the engine at idle not sure where exactly in the engine. Has oil at the mark on the dipstick so its not that
