I'm overdue for a timing belt change and will be doing it myself. I'm a shadetree mechanic type and have all the tools. The 1st timing belt was changed at 55K by the dealer and I changed to water pump, belts and the radiator hoses at the same time. It now has 130K and I want to do everything I need to do now to last the life of the truck. After doing some research I wonder if I should also replace the 2 belt tensioners, cam seals, and water pump. I will definately be doing the front crank seal since its leakng and the belts and hoses again. I'm leaning toward doing everything since asking the original parts to go 200K is alot. I don't really want to change stuff I don't have to though since these things aren't cheap. Any input/advise would be appreciated.

You will need to replace both idler pulleys. The first one is on top where the coolant flows through, and the second one has a spring attached to it. You will also need to change the water pump. Also change the cam seals and the crank seal.
Make sure you use all new TOYOTA OEM Parts. I've used the "Autozone" Special and i was stuck stranded at 3am in the middle of no where, 7hours away from home! The timing belt tooth came off the belts.
I was lucky that i did not bend any valves, but i had to pay a crazy tow truck fee!

Timing belts on the 3.0V6 should be changed at every 100,000km(60,000miles). The parts you want to change is a good idea. I`ve got almost 200,000km(124,000miles) on my timing belt and nearly 300,000(186,000miles)on the water pump. This is not reccommended. The pre `92 V6`s are freewheeling (so I`m told) so in the event of a belt failure I`m stuck on the side of the road. The newer ones may cause internal engine problems with a failure.
