92 3.0 idle speed ?

i recently put a jdm import 3.0 in a 92 4 runner 5 speed 430 ratio. I used the harness plenum and egr system off my old engine. I have free play in the throttle cable. my service manual says the ecm sets the idle. my isdle is 1800 cold and 1300 warm. the engine runs great get decent milage and no cel.
any ideas would be appreciated.

Is it the 3.0 diesel or gas? Reason I ask is there is a 3.0 JDM diesel.

sorry about that it is a gas. I have priced the jdm diesels but just too much money. I wish there was a idle screw the thing runs great no vacum leaks it just idles too high.

Where is your timing set at?

I hate having to mess with it, but mine needed it. nothing else was wrong.

The screw is right there facing the front of the car on the side of the throttle body. it is just a flat blade screw that's flush with the intake.

i rechecked the timeing 10 degrees with the diag jumped. unplugged it and it went down to 6 degrees. i checked all vacum lines and my idle was 1900 cold and 1300 warm. I adjusted the screw on the throttle body i take it it is a air richment screw?? in 2 turns and my idle was 850. timing stayed the same.
