Hi there! Im new to this forum and just wanted to introduce myself and ask for a little advie and help. I own a 2nd gen 95' Limited 4Runner 4x4 v6. Ive tried to shift into 4x4 recently on a trip to Pismo beach. Unfortunately my 4x4 didnt engage got stuck and sank my entire back end into the sand. Does anyone know how to determine if its an electrical or mechanical problem. Does anyone know how to fix?

Would really like to get some advice and help.

Thanks!

First check the vacuum lines that run to the front diff. After that, do a manual hub swap and ADD delete (Google it).

ADD was convenient while I had it. Although, when I swapped manual hubs in, one of the old auto hubs shattered immediately on removal. It's like it was about to go out, immediately.
