95 running badly... need help

Ive got a 95 4runner... 3vze... I replaced plugs, wires, cap, rotor, oil change, new fuel filter and line running from the sending unit.... For some reason it still misses when idling, and accelerating. When I did the plugs and wires on it I noticed the #6 plug was black when the rest of them are all gray. Im thinking perhaps that injector is bad, or compression in that cylinder is bad? It also is throwing cel 24 and 25 for saying its too lean and too rich... not sure why.... please help, any info here would be great!

Check your compression, I have had similar problems and found out #4 cylinder had 10 psi...basically "dead". With some help from this forum and a mechanic determined that the exaust valve is prolly stuck open. Good luck, I am sure you will get it figured.

if it only idles rough and runs good at highier rpms then yes that cylinder has a bad injector. The black plug should have told you that its running rich in that cylinder.

So I checked my injectors, and those were good. So my guess is compression, and Im thinking valves are carboned up some to where they would be stuck open, Im thinking about just running some seafoam through the system to see if that happens to make any difference at all, then checking compression when I get the time. Anyone used seafoam before and think thats a good idea?
