95 w/ a Passenger Power Window that won't work

Howdy all...

I'm closing in on getting all the electrical gremlins out of my 1995 v6. The last one I have to tackle is the Front Passenger window. All other windows work from any/all switches, but the from passenger won't go up/down from the master switch panel or the passenger door switch.

I've gone through the FSM and verified that the motor is good, checked both switches for continuity according to the FSM, but I'm not getting power at the motor pigtail. My next step is to get into the door jamb harness, but looking for other opinions before I tear into it.

I've read that the door control relay can cause funky things, but I'll be damned if I can find it in the driver's kick panel.

Any/all input appreciated.

BTW, what F!@#$$! moron decided it would be a good idea to have an owner take the grill and headlights out to change a D!@$ headlight bulb? What a crock of S##$ that was. It was easier moving the coolant overflow bottle, battery, and washer bottle out of the way. Upside was with the battery out, I had a good excuse to jumper the pass window motor to verify operation.

Scratch that no voltage comment. I get voltage in up, none in down. Weird.

If the other windows function off the master switch I probly would NOT start looking for a replacement. Easy to remove the master window switch, may consider cleaning and checking the electrical connections.

Had same/similar problem; purchased a used master switch several months ago and it worked fine for a few weeks, now the driver's window occasionally stops working, found if I take the window and lift, or maneuver the window in its track it will operate until the next episode, usually no problem for weeks.

I disassembled and cleaned the original master panel and found there are some does and don'ts, now have a spare.

Not knowledgeable, perhaps other member's will chime-in as to whether there relays, sensors, etc. that can be the cause of the problem?

I had the same problem. It was a broken wire in the drivers side door jam harness. Inside of the rubber bellows.

That's what it was. Found the Red/Black wire broken, ran a new one, window went down, but no up. Then found the Red/Green wire broke. Ran new one, works.

BUT, how in the !@#$! did you get wires through the rubber boot? I tried for about 15 minutes and gave up. Made a temp fix by running the wires outside the boot. It won't last long, but give me time to come up with another plan. If I was at my house in NM, I would have had access to a wire coat hanger or something more stout than 16gage wire.

go "fishing"

tape your new wire to an existing wire
pull it through until you catch the end of the new one
untape
pull your existing wire back into place
