HI GUYS,
Having trouble with starter motor / starting on 1996 3.0l 4 cyl manual 4 runner.
Sometimes the starter motor wont turn, and when i turn ignition switch to start position nothing happens, but the clock dims like there a lack of power in the electrics?
We have already chenged the starter solonoiid contacts and fitted new batteries.
Shes always been a one turn starter, but now the starter just wont spin sometimes.
I have read the actual ignition switch can be a problem?
The relays have always made a funny buzzing instead of a click, but its something its always done. she still used to start great though.
Its almost as if theres a bad earth? or a relay is playing up?
Any help would be much appreciated.
at 150.000 miles could the actual stater motor bushes be wearing?
