99 4runner: Do I need an Air/Fuel Ratio Sensor or O2 Sensor?

Hi,

Could use a little help clearing up some confusion. I've searched the site for an answer but I'm stumped.

I have a 99 4runner V6 Auto 4wd that threw out 3 codes:

• P0125
• P0130
• P0133

Based on what I've read, I'm planning to replace both the Upstream and Downstream sensors just to be safe.

The 4runner was originally purchased in Pennsylvania, but the VECI label states that it meets California emission standards. So I'm not sure whether I need to get an Air/Fuel Ratio Sensor and an O2 sensor, or just get 2 O2 sensors.

Any help is much appreciated..

If you have 2 Cats, You'll need an AFR for the front, O2 for the rear. These are the part numbers.

If I were you, I'd only use Denso products. Here are the part numbers.

If it's an automatic 4WD with V6:
Front: 234-9002
Rear: 234-4153

If it's a manual 4WD with V6:
Front: 234-9003
Rear: 234-4153

If it's an automatic 2WD with V6:
Front: 234-9002
Rear: 234-4155

If it's a manual 2WD with V6:
Front: 234-9003
Rear: 234-4155

If you have 1 Cat, you'll need just 2 O2 Sensors.

If it's an automatic 4WD with V6:
Front: 234-4162
Rear: 234-4162

If it's a manual 4WD with V6:
Front: 234-4161
Rear: : 234-4154




I don't have links for the 2WD parts, but I am sure you can find them. Those amazon links may not be the cheapest, they were just the easiest to find, and I love Prime shipping...
