99+ headlight help

Decided to go ahead and swap in my 99+ headlights today, but for some reason the passenger side isn't lining up. The little connector piece that sits under the headlight is not lined up with the lens like it should. The Driver side however lines up perfectly.

I also noticed that the adjusters in the back are different from the OEM headlights on the 98 as well as those on my 2000. I'm thinking that I was sold a miss-matched set(one OEM, one not).

Ideas? Could I just swap the lens/housing onto my old backing mount?

It's because u need to adjust the light on the back there are two nuts.

that little black metal piece .... you might have the L and R sides swapped.

look at the writing on the bottom of the lenses, this will tell you if they are both oem or not.

I'll try adjusting the lamp but I can't see that it would move that much. The driver side says toyota but the passenger side just has random numbers.
