Guys, please don't try to talk me out of selling it. I already don't want to but it's not doing me any good sitting in my driveway. This is one of the nicest 5 speed 3rd Gens in existence, you couldn't clone it for the asking price. I don't NEED to sell it but it just makes sense to do so.
Below is my previous F/S thread. I literally put less than 200 miles on it in the last two months. I don't want to sell it but I don't want it to sit either. Since the original ad, I've done:
Swapped the LC springs for 890's
Bushwacker painted flares (still need to install them)
Tundra 231's Big Brake Upgrade
1' wheel spacers
sanded, cleaned and painted the frame

Hey guys. I'm really torn on this. But I just got a HUGE opportunity at work that will have me driving anywhere from 500-1000/week. My lifted 4Runner isn't the vehicle for that. I LOVE this thing and as you'll see from what I've put into it and how recently I've done it, I planned to keep this one for a long time.

New OEM Timing Belt
New OEM Waterpump
New OEM Cam & Crank seals
New OEM Tensioner
New Plugs (correct dual ground plugs)
New Wires
New Denso O2 sensors (both front and rear)
Coolant Flush with correct Toyota Coolant
Has a nice Kenwood Headunit, JL AMP and JL Stealthbox with an 8' JL sub. Very, very clean, nice truck. Best bet is to PM me.
And I plan on staying in the 4R community. I really want a 1st Gen 4Runner so I'm planning on buying one and using that as a toy and a light wheeler (this is too clean to wheel) but getting something a lot more client friendly for everyday.
I'm into this one for a fortune. Since it's so clean and since I had planned to to keep this one for myself as opposed to selling it, I paid a lot for it. I have since dumped about another $4,500 into it.
$9,000 or best reasonable offer. I don't NEED to sell it. I can just go buy an old Camry or something for the meantime and/or drive my wife's car as needed. I can assure you that you won't find a cleaner one. This needs absolutely nothing, you couldn't build it for my asking price. Every know issue with these things has been addressed in the last 1500 miles. It's easily ready to go another 150K without breaking a sweat.
MORE INFO:
In talking to people, here are few things I feel should be mentioned so that if you're considering my truck, you know them:
1.) At some point I am 99% sure it was at least painted if not hit and painted on the left side. The repair is very good, paint matches, no blend lines or tape marks but if you really look hard at it, there appears to have been a repair there. TITLE IS CLEAN!
2.) Dash clock doesn't work. But the head unit has a clock so it hasn't bothered me.
3.) NO RUST! I cleaned and painted the frame as a preventive step. I did not paint the skid plates though, planned to get them powder coated. They show some surface rust as any truck this age would but again, they're not rotted, damaged, etc. Same goes for the rim on the spare tire.
4.) The rear sway bar is pulled. With the lift, the sway bar was actually making it less stable. I pulled it and it drives much nicer. Sway bar is included with the sale and longer end links (stock 2nd Gen end links for example) would cure the stability issue.
