Ya, it's awesome. His is getting all the hand me downs from mine, such as my 99 front bumper, as soon as my new one comes!

Thanks, I emailed them on July 3rd just asking for progress and they said it would be two weeks before I got it, so it should be here anytime now. I think getting rid of the holes took some extra time.

I think they always say a week or two or whatever and I learned to expect double the time they say. Its worth it in the end though.

Finally got my bumper today from CBI! It took longer than expected, but it was well worth it. All holes were perfectly aligned and i was able to use all 8 bolts. I was slightly nervous hearing how some people had issues with alignment, but it actually took me way more time to remove my factory bumper than it did to install the CBI. Install literally took less then 10 minutes! I still need to take it back off and paint it satin black, but I'll rock it bare metal for a day or so to show off the welds.

I've had a VERY busy couple of weeks, Got my bumper painted and mounted and made a small block off plate for the winch access, since I won't have a winch for a while.

Even more exiting is that I left for college in McPherson Kansas. On the way, we stayed in Moab for three nights and enjoyed the scenery, but most importantly ran some trails. Moab is AWESOME! I will certainly go back!

The first day I ran the first half of Fins And Things. It was a totally different type of off roading than Im used to! The slick rock is really cool, the way the tires grip is crazy.

The new bumper helped a lot with approach angle, but I still left my mark with the hitch!

No matter how hard of trails I run and will ever run, Fins N Things will always be on my favorites list, mainly cuz I can do the entire hard line But still. What other trails did you run while there?

Ya, I loved Fins And Things. I can't wait to go back with more time. I also did part of Seven Mile Rim, but the trail was really washed out and it was getting dark, so I turned back. The other day we spent in Arches being tourists. Moab and the surrounding area is one of my new favorite places.

Dude your truck is exactly what I'm shooting for. I mean I have a 2000 limited desert dune with silver flares and cladding but I'm going for the daily driver/ weekend warrior deal so I just have one question. I have read your build a couple million times and can't seem to find your front lift. What am I missing? Am I over looking it?
Why must you be so difficult why not put the specs in the signature?!?! Jk man again nice truck

Thanks! My front lift consists of stock 230,000 mile highlander springs and .5" top plate spacers from toytec.

A few updates for the 4runner. Just ordered a winch to fill the void in the bumper! Im on a college budget, so the new waterproof Smittybuilt XRC 9500 fit the bill. Also, will be ordering some Bilstien 5100 adjustable shocks for the front. Im preparing for another Moab this spring break with several other Yota guys I've met at school!

Wow I'v been away for a while! Anyway, Thanks, I love my CBI, it has been well used! Unfortunately, I really can't keep the 40 now, but I definately will buy another in the not to distant future to build for myself. (hopefully a troopy, of fj43 extended wheelbase!) As for the 4runner, last week I swapped out my 906s for a set of LC 7 coils. After tons of research, I ordered the OEM Tokico rear shocks for an 80 series.

Heres the new setup, It is still settling, so this isn't the final height, but I love it!
