A/C and gas pedal

I have at 2001 SR5 and when the A/C is on the gas pedal will stop working for a short period of time. I have to tap the gas a couple of times to get working again. Let me know if this is a common problem with the 3rd gen or just my year in general.

no its not a problem with a the 4runners in general, just seems like something with yours.

make sure your belts are right and the pullys are intact. make sure your clutch on your ac compressor is working properly.
