Im working on my sister in-laws 1995 4runner and have hit a road block with her A/C. She had blow the low pressure side hose on her A/C. I have replaced the hose and dryer unit, pulled vacuum on the system, and began to add refrigerant. Yesterday however, upon adding refrigerant, when running the gauges read low -20 psi (vacuum) and, high 300 psi at 102 degree ambient temp.
This morning I started the car and rechecked gauges and the read 30 psi low, 225 psi high @ 90 ambient. A little low for for the ambient temp according to my graphs, yet was getting semi cold air through the vents. I went to the store and purchased more refergerant and when I returned and added it the low side actually droped to 25 psi, (255) high. And I am no longer getting cold air.
