well you have to find out where the leak is coming from. possibly an o-ring on the hoses that connect to the compressor. Could be the compressor itself.

Is there any colored liquid coming out from leak? If so it may have dye in the system, use a black light to trace it if possible.

A/C is pretty simple to fix. Replace the bad parts (usually condenser, hoses, compressor), have someone charge the system or do it yourself if you know how.

I might be off track, but are you sure it isn't condensation? I know that there is this little hose near my passenger wheel (sort of by the compressor) that drips water when/after I run the A/C. If your A/C actually gets cold, I wouldn't think its leaking refrigerant. Also, unless its a very big freon leak, I don't think you'd see it puddling on the ground. I believe it turns to gas at room temp. when its no longer compressed, so it would evaporate very quickly.

Nate hit it on the money if your ac is leaking and you can see it, then it has dye in it. this will HELP you so much already.
hes right o rings are the #1 cause of ac leaks and the cheapest parts to replace

Thanks guys I am hoping that it is just an o ring. And yes there is a colored liquid. Really I thought it was anti freeze because its green but definitely coming from the compressor area. I will get this checked out.
