A day at Roughneck Offroad, Sliders!

Thanks to Steve for the outstanding service and build today

This is an account of a(CL Steal) set of All Pro Off Road Sliders and a quality build from Steve at Roughneck Off Road out in Wildomar CA. I called Steve last Friday and told him I picked up a used set of sliders and gave him a run down on what I was wanting to do with them. Steve understood everything I was wanting and also said he was wide open for Sunday(How many shops work on Sunday=BA)

As I pulled into his shop it way clean and ready to go for me and he got right to work (Was even happy to have my pup along too). He took a good look at the sliders and suggested that we double tube them for added strength off the frame so they would not bend. He showed me what he would do and I was all in favor of this Idea and way to build them.

Now that the Sliders are all up to Steve standards it is time for me to paint and he is off to the CNC Plasma Machine to do the CAD work. Gussets and more- I love this machine. Steve also dose a full line of CNC Fabricating to YFI :eyebrows:

After the CNC Machine work was done Steve got everything together and went back for the last measurements and some Tac. Fittings for the Sliders. Even the pup agreed it was good stuff and had to give his blessing.

At this point the left side is about done. The process is pretty much the same on the other side. We had to do a little bending on the right side slider to have a clean fit but the weight of the truck took care of that pretty much. Enjoy the rest of the pictures. Thanks again Steve for a good day fixing up the 4Runner!

I have some other things in mind next but not working is putting things on hold for the moment. The running boards have been off for about a month or so.
