Come on guys! Someones gotta compliment all the good work Iv been doing on my 4runner here. Im starting to develop a complex here

I like the new additions man! The stock skid turned out pretty good too! I painted mine this spring while it was on the truck, after a proper degrease, and used some black semi gloss Tremclad still looks good.
P.S. I was looking at your spring install pics, and judging from the looks of your undercarriage pics....WE probably have about the same amount of rust under our rigs....just mine is covered with grease and oil. The previous owner never sprayed it, so for it's first 6 years....it never got any loving. I effectively halted the spread of the rust, at least for the most part! :reddance:
Again, the truck looks good! I'm definately a little jealous...I've always wanted a black 4Runner!

They are made by Wade. I like them because the are small and subtle. But they do allow me to crack open the windows in rain or snow
Ya I do have a little rust on the axel. I think Im gonna sand it, treat it with rust converter, and then apply an undercarriage coating to it.
I got really lucky with the black. Its what I wanted, but I didnt think I would find one. It was the 4th 4runner I looked at last summer in Colorado when I was searching, and it was love at first sight!

So a guy in my shop at my guard base works in a machine shop, and told me he had access to sheet metal and a water jet and could make small stuff for free. So I stole the idea of door sills from burtman industries, drew up some dimensions and had him make them. Got them last weekend and just put them in today. Got all four of them, .120 thick stainless steel, for free! how awesome is that.
And I removed my fake plastic hood scoop today. I think it looked alright, but you could tell is wasn't part of the hood. I just couldnt justify having a plastic scoop taped onto my hood anymore. I was starting to feel like a moran :bravo: Oh well. Maybe in the future i will find a deal on a black sport hood

Christmas gift to myself. Replaced my 265 70 Goodyear Wrangler R/TS's with 265 75 Cooper Discoverer H/T's. One inch bigger in diameter to complement my 1.5 inch lift.
But the best part of all is that my highway vibration is almost completely eliminated! Finally after nearly 16 months of highway vibrations! I can cruise at 80 with essentially no issues now. And I drive 80 highway miles round trip every day for work, so this is a big deal for me.

Lookin good man! I didn't really mind the hood scoop....heck..the full hood isn't functional either!

Ya I didnt mind the look of it. But you could tell is wasnt part of the hood because it didnt quite sit flush. Id love to get a sport eventually!

Nice! I'm thinking of painting my wheels black too. Black 3rd gens are probably one of the best looking suvs of all time imo.

Just installed my clear rear lenses that I got from blcktpgsr. I know some guys dont like the clear lenses, but they look good with black. My truck is covered with a layer of rain turned to ice in these pictures. And as usual the quality is bad since my crappy phone has the only camera I own. Im gonna order a digital camera this week. I also bought blcktpgsr's stock front bumper which was professionally painted black to color match our trucks. Hope to install it next weekend!

Ya most of my pictures make my truck look kinda dull and faded when in person its actually really sharp. The paint is in great condition. When I get my digital camera Ill post some nicer photos

It's look clean man! Personally....I like my chrome...but on a black rig....Monochromatic paint schemes look best!

Ya i dont mind my chrome bumper. Its rust free and it looks nice. But just like you said, on black 4runners color matched is the bomb

So today I finally got around to putting on the black color matched bumper that I bought from blcktpgsr a few weeks ago. I cant believe how easy this project was. It took like an hour. Rear bumper ends are next to be color matched. Along with different color wheels. Its coming along nice and slow
By the way my chrome bumper is now for sale. I will have it listed in the classifieds soon. It's in excellent shape other than that one ding in the center (see below) which Im going to try to straighten out the best I can. Its rust free with fantastic shine. See my album for photos. I also have a really nice set of Tacoma wheels and my mint OEM tail lights for sale in the classifieds.
