BTW ,that miscreant was JED aka DocMT and many more alias user ID's over the years on the forum.Search for those user ID's and you'll see the pattern if you have time to waste in your life.
He's been banned from here many times and is the king of all loser social misfits.

His purposely not multi quoting to run up his post count as he always does gave it away. I pm'd him nicely last week ,when white shadow started posting on here ,explaining in detail how to multi quote and he came back with a smart ass answer.

Yea I figured that and posted it when he started all this. Had to give props to Lolrax though for absolutely blistering him in that post last night. We need to make a list of Eskimo Chaos, Jed, T4Fun, Clockwork, DocMT and others so everyone new will know. I really liked when you posted everything different about this engine and he started with his nonsense and provocation. Hey, just picked up a bunch of leaves here in the mountains. Bet you miss that right?

I realized who he was then and put him on my "ignore list" right after that as he obviously was an ass and just trying to provoke an argument.

btw ....you can put somebody on the ignore list and none of their post or threads will show up so you don't have to waste your time reading their crap and could care less what they have to say.
Just click on "USER CP" at the top left and then "edit ignore list" and add their user ID to it.
I have 421 on mine so far.................kidding ,just kidding!


Wierd weather here,high 80's and humid before the front came through yesterday and highs around 50 today and going down in the 30's with freeze warnings the next 2 nights .So our leaves will be dropping too this weekend.Nothing like what's headed you yankees way! Best of luck and I hope every one back east battens down the hatches and comes out ok! Looking like it could be the mother of all storms forming!

In a somewhat related story, I do wish that people would post topics in the appropriate forum. I'm not trying to be a Nazi either:police:, but I would like to see more of the stuff that floats around in the multiple Gen specific forums. Anyway, carry on. I mean, gosh I want to see if you're moving to CO or not. Why you gotta leave us 4th Gen guys out. huh?

I'm surprised I missed said thread. I always just hit new posts and look at pretty much everything. since I didnt sleep last night I should have caught it. oh well..

Not gonna lie though it totally bugs me being in the wrong section. its like... well you guys wouldn't know, you weren't there (different site) but when a new Gen came out they all posted everything in that section because they thought it was the only section they could post in. we had to move so many threads!

just rambling... it reminded me of that. lol.

I really did it because I was noticing how many 5th gen owners live there so thought this was a better place to get their attention. Plus general discussion traffic is kind of weak. You guys are always welcome to the 5th gen topics though and most of you don't have to be reminded of that. :bigok:

I know, I usually poke my nose into the 5th Gen threads to see Antman's mods, Brock's pictures and SoCal's awesome build. But as someone who once moderated other boards, we should do our admins a favor and post threads in the appropriate sub-forum so they don't have to move them.

PS: The general discussion traffic section wouldn't be so slow if more people posted there. It's a chicken or the egg thing

Dusty, I post where its applicable. In this instance it was a 4th gen owner trolling and causing provocation in the 5th gen forum. I owned a 1st gen almost 30 years ago. I now own a 5th gen. Anything in between I know nothing about. Some of my posts might be applicable for other generations but I KNOW they are applicable here so here I stay. And let's face it: Many other gen owners do not like the 5th gen 4runner and there are many many threads to that effect. I enjoy everyone's posts usually but I am not going to post in another section knowing that whatever I say someone is going to say "the V-8 is better or the styling is ugly or there are no LED taillights or no solid axle front end or something.

Awww. I would be irritable too if I had to spend 4 hrs setting up my "boom boom room" every camping weekend.

Since we are off topic - shouldn't we save our outrage for the NHL forums.. Bloody lockout... Oh and why didn't you guys beat the Kings.. Now I have to deal with lakers fans coming to Ducks - Kings games at the Ponda... Whenever the season starts that is..

Anyway, the 4R is a great hockey truck - so this is totally relevant to the 5th gen Sub forum:D
