Had an absolute blast. I think you've finally gotten this thing close to bullet-proof (or Austin proof). Once you get the bumpers, it's gonna be unstoppable. That new suspension is amazing. Couple more of my faves of your rig:

Holy trail blazing with [MENTION=68704]superman3043[/MENTION] ! You guys looked like you thoroughly tested your rigs out. I also love the idea of the rigids in Supermans bumper. Are you going to do the same Austin? As usual your rig looks sick, and I think I'm going to go with your input on the 4xinvoations sliders and if I read correctly did you fab metal to go over the bottom of the sliders or the top? I'm thinking I would cover up the top to make an even surface so some innocent passenger doesn't get their foot stuck or slip in entering the vehicle. Do you have an open door pic with the sliders on? And that should do it with my 27 questions.

Thanks man, I welded 3/16" plate steel to the bottom of the sliders and using countersunk bolts, bolted an 11 gauge plate to the top. I used a CNC plasma table at my machine shop to cut out the plates to match the shape of the sliders. I had plans to mount some lights in them since the limited's came with the courtesy lighting on the running boards but I've kinda dropped that idea lol. I doubt I'll spend the money on rigids but I will have some sort of lights in the buckets. Haven't picked out a set or put my eye on anything in particular yet. Something that's cheap and works will wind up in there lol.

Nice! Looks like you took that blue Taco's line... With a little added "Austin Bump n' Run". So should I hit this next time? Was it the roughest part or did it get worse? Glad y'all got out. Hate that I missed it, but I got a little "backyard wheeling" in at my buddies house.

I think you may have been fortunate in missing this trip, your good buddy Brian came with Casey lol. His mannerly first words to me were "Austin can you do me a favor? If your going to wheel with us today can you not drink beer, I have my kids with me and I don't want them to be around that" As if he couldn't have said hey first or been friendly at all. Besides I was there to wheel with brock, they just happen to come down the same day so we all met up and ran together. Which worked out for Casey, at some point he broke his rear upper link. Brock and I had fallen behind because Brock had some issues to fix on the trail and I said "we'll catch up we'll see you on dicky bell". Well we caught up to them eating lunch they were headed out of dicky bell at the top they had just climbed it and we here heading to go down it. We stopped and spoke then decided Brock and I would just go down dicky bell turn around climb it and meat back up with them at the base of danials. They discovered the broken link when we left. We went down and back up dicky hill avoided some trail traffic and made it back to Nick and Brian arguing about what was the right way to get the control arms to line up with the axle mounts. I got under the truck with a bottle jack and based the jack on his cross member above his pinion flange and used the bottle jack to rotate the axle in position to line up with the control arms.. Fixed (wonder how long they would've argued about it lol)
I'm pretty confident you can run this trail. It was the toughest ledge to get up but not the worst part of the trail. The second ledge isn't hard your just at a crazy off camber situation and if you roll, you roll all the way back to the first ledge lol so more nerve racking than impassible. the third ledge isn't bad you have have to thread a needle between some rocks and a tree and be leaning towards the tree. Everyone had to keep there driver side mirror folded in on that one. Then you get up to the big rock garden hill climb I was spinning all four on a dry day with just the rear locked so the loose rocks certainly hinder you but I'm sure you can make it up with some effort.

they were all terrains at some point lol they were all on the wear bars. He is locked front and rear though.

Another back yard to wheel in? It's not as cool as mine though,lol.
On the first ledge I stay to the right going up, you took the far left line which is the harder line, then coming around that corner you want to stay away from the wall but you feel like you need to be close to it, the second ledge is for sure a pucker moment, then the sharp turn after the ledges which leads to the tree everyone almost kisses. It thows you off because the rocks push you towards the tree so staying close to the tree is key. I can't wait to get back out hopefully in May!
The weather conditons changes everything though. If it's dry then you spin in the dust, if it's wet then you spin in the mud, it has to be a nice combo of moisture and dryness, lol.

helll yeah! just took delivery of my new bumper woot woot! The plan is to install it, get some tubes welded on top and a few plating ideas bad thing is my plasma table is down getting a new controller installed so it will be some time before i get all the fab work done. I'll be rocking the bare steel bumper for a bit it should be interesting lol.

Got bored at lunch and added some expanded metal to the lower cutouts and fill welded in two holes they add to allow you to mount a license plate up front. lol never really going to use those. Painted the mounts and the shackles black. Just waiting on 5 o'clock to bolt it up and dream up any fab ideas i can add to it to make it mine:target:

I'm tossing a few paint scheme ideas around in my head, I've liked the look of color matched as well as a mat black. The options are endless though I can paint the thing lime green if i wanted to lol. I have a buddy with connections to automotive paint and a spray gun so it'll get painted whatever color I end up liking the most.
