ABR Sidewinder, dual batt tray GROUP BUY

Got my tray installed last night, and I was impressed with the quality of instructions, materials and how well everything came together in the end.
I realized I'm an idiot though, and apparently you can't fit a group 34 battery in that spot - not because of the tray size but because the body hangs too low there. Does anyone know what's the largest battery size you can fit on the tray in that spot?

Group 34's are tight but they fit. I have an Optima Blue top group 34 and have plenty of room but I have a home made battery tray over there. Here's Jonessy's pic of a Platinum 34 fitting with the ABR... http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-gen-t4rs/115877-2nd-battery.html#post1074751
The Platinum Marine batteries are on sale today. Just bought a Platinum Group 31M marine battery for my Drivers side for $209 this morning and ready for pick up now. Group 34 platinum Marine's were $165 online.Pretty sure you have to register with them to get those prices and you have to pay online and pick up at a Sears store.
I have the Die Hard Platinum Group 34 Marine battery and it would not fit. I finally inserted it in the main slot and managed to squeeze the stock battery in the 2nd spot. The top of the 34M battery tapers out to nearly 11 inches, and there is only just under 10 inches of room because of the sidewall overhanging. A wider battery would fit if it were shorter. I'm sure I could tap new holes into the battery tray, but it's not worth it now that the batteries are swapped and locked down.
Thanks for the picture! I had seen it previously, but I think the gray top of the Sears 34M might be different than the standard 34? It tapers out significantly on each side (long ways).
Also, a group 34 battery is 1 inch longer than the group 35. The stock group 35 fits in the second slot without even 1/4 inch to spare. I can't even shove a screwdriver down the side to help wiggle the battery into position. I'd love to know how you wedged the 34 in there!

I ordered two new Optima for my setup
I replaced factory battery with a group 35 Optima,

Tray arrived in the mail this weekend, thanks again Shawn for setting it all up.
Sounds like size 34 is the way to go, since it fits without mods. I was looking at the DieHard Platinum Marine Battery - Group Size 34M, I think people have been happy with it as an aux.
What about the starter? is this ok to leave stock? Still works fine, but dont want to blow something up if I cross contaminate brands.

Well I finally got time to do my dual battery install. Thanks again to Shawn for organizing the buy on the ABR tray, great product, well thought out and good clear instructions, I think it is worth the $ for anyone considering getting one. I got these terminals and boots from Prime 4x4, they worked pretty nice. Military Battery Terminal and Boot Sets
The installation of the IBS system went pretty smooth too, just lots of double checking on the wiring diagram and one trip to West Marine when I screwed up on one of the wiring terminals and needed another.
So on photo 3 and the bit of a rat's nest on the IBS wiring, anyone want to chime in on whether I should I jacket or tape those better? They are secure but seem to be hanging out there a bit? It is a little tight with the Warn controller there too. I think the main IBS relay is upside down but that worked better for the leads to the main and aux going in.
