I have not had a chance to pull the skid plate off so I can check better yet. At first I thought I had something coming loose in the timing cover. but with a stethoscope I was able to determine that it was not and coming from the area of the ac idler or the compressor it self, however I could not get my stethoscope to that area with the engine running. thus have to pull the skid plate. However all the research Ive been able to do shows that when that idler goes bad it groans.
It feels tight, but then again its under pressure form the belt.
Anyone have it rattle and not groan?
