adding spoiler to 2004 SR5

I am thinking of adding a spoiler to my 4Runner and have two questions:

How effective is the Toyota spoiler at keeping road dust off the rear window and bumper ledge?

Anyone have experience with this install?

I expect to be driving mine over dirt roads in about 2.5 weeks. I'll let you know my opinion then. (Regarding your installation question - - I think there has been a thread on this forum about the install.)

I didn't want a spoiler, but couldn't find one without it. I am hoping that the silver lining to having had to buy one will be that it really works on dust. My RX300 had a spoiler, and still got dusty, but the rear shape is so different that I am hopeful this one will work.

Mine didn't have one when I first got it, but now it does. I could tell a little bit of a difference once it was installed, btu not a huge one. It will still get dirty back there. I just like it better with one. It doesn't looked so chopped off in the back.
