Adio3x's Build/Pic thread.

So I went to my local Line-X dealer and they refused to do the job. I asked if they could do everything but the backside of the snorkel & they said no. Basically for small things like that, they use a mold, forgot what the actual term was, but its basically a glove of line x.

Think I might just do several coats of plastidip for now.

I have not heard of that, I guess plasti-dip it is for me also.

Why not use mostaliner or rattle-can bedliner?

I've seen it done before and it looks like crap, no offense to anyone that has it, it just isn't very consistent. For now, the whole thing will be dipped flat black, until I can find a better solution.

*Another teaser* I'll have some legit pics next week, but thanks to the guys over at FN Wheels, I'll be mounting my 6th set of wheel next monday :hungry:

Thank you sir!

So I had parked my car at a friends house a few days ago, someone totally just stole my snorkel topper. So I pulled a McGiver and came up with this lol.

***Another teaser*** Mounted up my new wheels today! I'll make a new thread once my new snorkel head comes in and I'll take more pics.

Damn...lol. Nice snorkle head... What replacement head did you buy. Interested to see it as I don't know if the FTS one will last...

There is actually a person out there running around with a stolen snorkle topper! That is just plain wrong.

But love your attitude and fix solution. The rig is looking awesome!

I found a 3.5" Safari snorkel head on ebay, I think it's the new style, but then I talked to Nathan (toy2g) and I got a spare PRG head as well. I'll mount both and take pics.

Did you mount the new snorkle top/head...looks like you did in your pics on the wheel post. Can you share what the part # is and what you think so far?

Interested as well. I bought a donaldson style pre-cleaner top but the wrong inlet size,

Alrighty, sorry for the late response, I was waiting for the PRG to come in.

After having the new style Safari Snorkel topper on, I would have to say I like it the best out of the 3. Although it weighs like 3lbs, super heavy duty.

Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics

Heres the Safari
