Hey everyone,

It's been real. Thanks for all the guidance and help over the past few years. Over the holiday weekend I traded in my 4Runner for a 2015 Tundra 1794 Edition. So far I'm pretty happy with the decision (got a smoking deal on the trade if I do say so myself - Dealer is advertising my truck on their website for $39.8k at the moment after 38k miles)

Time to start modding the Tundra now :bigok:

I went with Magnetic Gray Metallic again. And yep, I traded her in with the lights and lift.

Yeah but that leather smell is wonderful. It's like being cradled in a baseball mit as you go down the road. Question, do they list how many head of cattle it takes for each truck somewhere in the sticker? I would be curious.

Local dealer had one, when I was getting my TE serviced I climbed in and just inhaled the delicious leathery goodness.

Just closed the windows and hotboxed all that steerhide.

One of my keep-up-with-the-Jones in-laws acquired one of these recently.

Apparently he didn't think things through.

Just last week, he and his keep-up-with-the-Jones wife(Range Rover) refinanced their house.

You can damn near buy 2 entry level SR5 Tundra's for the price of one of these over-glitzed women's purses.

Refinancing a house in and of itself doesn't mean anything. We refinanced from a 15 year mortgage to a much better interest rate for a 5 year pay off and now the house is paid off 7 years early. Barring any other details from your "keep up wth the Jones" in laws I don't see anything wrong with what they did.

And yes, you can buy two entry level SR5 Tundras most likely for the price of the 1794 Edition, but I could have also bought three or four Kia Rios.
