Ads on the top of the page...

Do you guys get any incentive if someone clicks the advertisements on the top of the page? Do you have to buy something for T4R to get any incentives or just clicking through will be enough?

The reason I ask is it'd be nice if just once during visiting T4R to click on one of the Ads. If it gives back to GG and T4R that'd be great. Just a though...

Hey sharp4runr, the way revenue is generated varies between the ads. Tire Rack pays a 6% commission if you click on their banner and then buy something. Partznet pays a fixed monthly advertising fee, no additional revenue is generated by purchases, same with second skin audio. The ads that say "ads by Google" next to them pay by the click through so yes for those it helps everytime you just click on them. I've got a little arrangement with a buddy of mine though - he gets all the revenue from the Google ads in exchange for giving me free server space for this site Oh and the capital one ad pays only if you get a loan through them and so far it hasn't generated a dime

GG ok kewl. I'll make sure to click on the google AD at least once a day. I wouldn't want you to lose your hosting services because then where would I come waste my time while I'm at work.

I just listed my company on the Google pay per click. If you are not buying or don't have a genuine interest don't waste sponsor money clicking. I sell Genuine Toyota Parts and Accessories as well as I am ARB/OME dealer. I will check into doing some Banner Ads as well but I will only invest in advertising that can produce a return. So don't waste my money or any other sponsors money. I track all clicks by IP address and if I see you are wasting my money I'll pull off this forum. That would be too bad for the good customers.
