Advice on which wheel to buy on Duratrac

I know it is very subjective question, but I would like to know what others think and advice me. What are some great wheel options are there for Black SR5 2016 with Duratrac 285/70/17. Pictures will be awesome. Currently I am debating between FN wheels Konig Six Shooter Matte Black and Graphite Gunmetallic. Gunmetallic is shinier and matte black is not. I think Matte Black might look nicer. I dunno. Also what are other great alternatives? Six shooter is 8 inch wide which I think is great for duratrac since it allows 7.5 to 9 inch width. Does FN wheels provide any discount? They do not seem to sell anywhere else but their site.
My standard 7 inch wide sr5 wheel prolly wont work on duratrac that recommends minimum of 7 inch. I know trail wheels would work.

I'm running FN countersteer X on 285s on Toyo ATII in gun metal. The color is great and compliments my black TE well. The wheels are great and although expensive, the wheels and customer service are tremendous.

My only experience with duratrac was on a powerwagon but did love them. I'd recommend 8 inch wheels . You can run 7, many folks do, but there are always risks and many chain tire dealers and yota dealerships might not install against the tire manufacture recommended specs.

But there are always variables.

I like the SCS F5 wheels. I have them on my FZJ80 and will probably swap to them for the 4runner at some point now that they have that pattern in the 17" wheel.

Btw, the FN wheels are some of the lightest on the market.

So the Konig Six Shooter with the 6-139.7 hole pattern, offset 0mm, 8" wide will fit our 2010 4runners, right??

That thing is exactly what I was looking for. I just got back from discount tire, and there weren't any plain basic wheels I liked. I think I'm going to pull the trigger on this right now!

What is the difference between countersteer X vs 6 shooter? I mean i can see one has offset of 0mm and the other has like -10mm or something. Is that gonna make a difference on my duratrac? As far as build quality i am guessing about the same. So are they just different design?

The spoke design is different and the offset difference will affect rubbing depending on your lift setup. I am at about 2.5 in the front with 285s and the Xs and I rub on the left side at full lock backing out of my driveway with wheels turned right.

The sales guy at Fn explained to me the differences between 6 shooter and countersteer x; from what I will be doing with my car i decided 6 shooter was the best choice. I will be mostly doing overlanding and some city and highway driving. Slight offset of countersteer x makes the truck look little nicer and gives little bit more stability in rock crawling, 6 shooter that aligns with the truck fender will pick up or throw less rock when overlanding and the new superior manufacturing process and 0 offset makes this wheel slightly better in terms of durability and performance. They are both great wheels.

You're dealing with a good company. I have the countersteer type x's.

FNWheels was BY FAR the easiest and fastest vendor out of all of the ones I've dealt with for my build.

^^^^This... I've spent months trying to decide on wheels... Even ordered a machined aluminum six-shooter just to see in person and compare. At the end of the day, said F it and ordered Countersteer Xs in Anthracite for my '14 Black TEP. Trying hard not to do any color-changing/plasti-dipping, so figured anthracite might give me the best shot. I'm (currently) running Spidertrax on the stock TE rims, so I'm really used to the slightly wider stance (and minor rub in full lock/reverse) and like it. I've seen enough pics to know that Xs will drastically change the look of the Truck, so I'm anxious to see the end result. Will def post up some pics once installed next week.

EDIT: It's been said hundreds of times already, but Dustin at FN is maybe one of best customer service guys I've ever dealt with. He knows his shiote, isn't afraid to give you feedback and or an opinion, but doesn't get pushy at all. And, he'll work with you to help you make up your mind. Excellent in my book.
