Installed AFE Silver Bullet Throttle Body Spacer, LOVE IT! Even the wife loves it! Def got better smoother pickup. Nice mod.

Just got Toytec Ultimate life Kit by UPS today. Will either install myself next week or as wife said after seeing all the big metal thingys have someone install this to save your back. I did shocks oin my old jeep which aren't that hard but springs are new to me but don't look too hard BUT coil overs :jaw drop: thats really new to me. Will read Toytec install write up online over and over til I feel confident.

Can't wait to stop bouncing/floating in my 4Runner. And with a 2" lift:thumb3:!

I definitely feel power gains- no proof of course since I dont have a dyno:driving:. Stronger, smoother, faster acceleration from stop and on highway she picks up quick!
Quick n easy install, four bolts out, 4 new bolts and washers in plus the Spacer and gasket.
If you get one and my opinion IT"S WORTH THE PRICE, I'd suggest while your there cleaning out the Throttle body and MAF sensor.

Has anyone done this to the +06 v8? Any real stats to back up the power gains? Can't find any on their website.

I just can't see how a TBS is going to provide more power and better fuel economy on a fuel injected engine...

The experienced the boost in performance could have been a combination of butt dyno and cleaning the throttle body and MAF.

Video, hmmm I think I can do that. After the holiday weeknd when I get home. WIll show pickup from dead stop and show it on the highway.

Pass along some advice on cat-back exhaust. URD dosen't seem to have pipes for my 08 T4R so Magnaflo is next- price, sound, side piping are the plusses for their systme. And others? I think borla is mucho tacos too mucho for me!

I put in an Air Raid TBS on my rig. No notice on anything. I just wanted it for the "whistle" noise it is suppose to make, but I don't hear it.

For the exhaust I have heard a full Gibson Cat-back exhaust, and they sound really good. Not too loud and no drone.

a throttle body spacer will have notable gains on say a forced inducted engine (turbo/supercharger) or a highly modified naturally aspriated engine. even then, it will have to be dynotuned to take the full advantage of the modification. also, im sure we all know that more air=more fuel, so if anything, the gas mileage can only get worse.

More power, lower gas mileage. I think most of us on here don't do mods to save gas:D haha. but i could be wrong. I'm happy with the results.
