I ordered the '06-'09 black headlights from Ebay from "DT Moto." I paid $189 plus free shipping. Listing is here:

Package arrived in less than a week. I was surprised to find extremely good packaging, including form-fitting foam:
The lights were also shrink wrapped in cellophane to protect the lenses, and all the openings in the back were sealed with sticky discs to prevent moisture from getting in:
Comparing the two side by side, the new ones look nearly identical to the OEM ones. The rubber seals around the front appear to be high quality, the housings are very sturdy, and the quality of the black paint inside the housings appears to be flawless:
Difference between new and OEM (apologies for the pics - massive glare and reflections on the new housings because they are so damn shiny!):
I'm not going to go through a DIY - there are threads out there for that. All I can say is a big F YOU to the guy who thought the bolt on the side of the housing was a good idea, and that it being 8mm rather than 10mm (like the other three) was an even better idea.
I am extremely pleased with the build quality and fit of these lights. Time will tell if they are moisture proof, but barring any disappointments on that end, I would highly recommend these lights. My only quibble is a very odd one. The driver's side signal bulb did not want to go into the housing. On closer inspection and comparison with the passenger housing, it appears the slots for the offset tabs are identical between the two housings, instead of being a mirror image of each other. This means the driver's side signal bulb (the 1157-style one) would not go in without a very minor and quick trimming of about 2mm from one of the slots in the housing. It took all of 30 seconds to do this, but now you know. In this pic, with the light upright, it would be the slot at 2 o'clock:
And before anyone starts in with "why didn't you just paint your own..." - mine had really deteriorated lenses, and more importantly, I sealed them with some silicone after I bought the truck a year ago. I didn't want to try and bake them and stink up the house. Besides, these were cheap so I figured I'd be a guinea pig on these.
