Man, I haven no idea. I just ordered the darn things on Ebay and installed them. Did you guys look for the seller in the ad I posted?
BTW, I've been through a ton of rain lately and there's zero moisture problems.

What type/kind of silicone is everybody using to seal these before installing on the vehicle?

Anyone want my old OEM 2004 headlights? They both have the moisture problem. I swapped them out and have the packaging from the new lights that I could use to send. They're fine otherwise. I tried re-sealing one of them but it still had the moisture problem so I decided to replace both of them. Free pickup in Waltham MA or pay for shipping which is about $39-45 based on a few zip codes I checked. Bulbs not included. I have this posted in the For Sale section and thought I'd mention it here.

I have driven through some pretty bad rain and pressure washed the car today not being shy on the lights and have had no problem. I did run into the issue of one of the parking light bulbs not fitting. Contacted the seller, he gave me a partial refund. I took a razor blade to the housing and that fixed that. I'm very happy with them.

I think I was the only one who mentioned using silicon to seal my lights. I only did it as a precaution due to my last set leaking. Everyone else seems to have good luck with the lights. I don't remember the brand I used but I just bought some waterproof air tight sealant from advanced auto

The problem (which is why I am VERY wary of aftermarket headlamps) is that most if not all sellers withold the manufacturer of the lights. Instead they'll say "OEM! or as good as Factory!" and yet do not provide if it is Spyder, KHC, TYC, ect. Even a lot of parts websites do this, so it's very easy to lose track of who makes it.
I was hoping there was a packing list or some sort of warranty paper or something that came in your KHC box to indicate the manufacturer.
Hey could you get a clear picture of the corner of one of the headlamps? It should have the KHC logo and a DOT Approved number there? Maybe we can try and backtrace it via that?
The weird thing is that those Headlamps are not listed on Spyder's website...

I think they had a surplus batch come over on a container ship from China and now they are out. In 3 months when the next one shows up they will be all over ebay again. Hopefully they will have some Camburg UCAs in that shipment as well because at the rate those guys get new batches they can't be making them in the US lol. those ****ers.

We've been through a week of torrential rain and the headlights have no moisture in them. This will be the last time I check in on this thread, as it has run its course.

Anybody seen or heard anything about these? Looks like it has potential, but its always hard to tell until you see them mounted up. Also never used any ANZO products.

REAL pricey, but if the quality is there, its not a decent option for someone looking to upgrade to 06 style lights, wanting angel eyes at least.

Sorry if I missed this, but has anyone put HID bulbs into these aftermarket headlights? If so, how are they compared to stock projectors?

Am I seeing it correctly that you went from 04 head lights to 06+ ones? If so what else did you have to get/change. Im thinking of adding this to the "to do" list.

There's a few threads on updating from '03-'05 headlamps to '06-'09 units, but I'll give you a rough list of what you'll need:
That's a rough list of what you'll need to make them work.
- New Low Beam Bulbs (the projectors use H11 Bulbs vs. the old 9006/HB4)
- H11 Connectors with pigtails to splice in place of old 9006/HB4 connectors
- New sockets for the turn signals (they use the same socket as the '03-'05 turn signal assemblies in the lower bumper; you will have to make up your own wiring if you want them to work, but I recommend them to seal the housing at the very least.)
- Weatherproof Butt Connectors to splice the wires (these are the ones you heat up with a heat gun and they melt and seal the joint, very much desirable in this appplication)
- New filler panels that go under the headlamps (I would use a website like partsouq.com to get the part numbers and/or buy the parts.)
That's a rough list of what you'll need to make them work.

Got my lights delivered yesterday. They look awesome! The only issue I'm coming across is the same problem the o.p had. Where the drivers side turn signal bulb won't lock into place because of the way the tabs are. How did everyone go about trimming the tabs? What tool did you use? Thanks
