Aftermarket black headlights - review and lots of pics

Likewise, I had to trim the holes a bit to fit the light in properly.
These are all fine and dandy pics of the same headlights. How about someone actually showing LIGHT output at night besides the one blurry picture.
Who cares about how they look on the vehicle with black lens lets see the cut offs and light output that is the most important part of the headlight

25ft from garage door.
That's a pretty decent cutoff, but it looks like both projectors' light shields are rotated to the passenger side a little?

Could be his driveway, mine are pretty flat and look close to that.

So I bought the same one as everyone else but I could help but notice the projector was extremely crooked. Anyone else have this issue?

Just ordered a set of these for my 4th gen. What bulbs is everybody running? I was thinking of running Piaa plasma GTX or the OEM bulbs.

So I bought the same one as everyone else but I could help but notice the projector was extremely crooked. Anyone else have this issue?
One of mine is just slightly misaligned but I can't tell if it is normal or not. They throw light pretty much evenly so I don't know if I should get it replaced or not. What did they say about yours?
Also if someone could take a picture head on of the projector so I can see what they should look like that would be helpful. Thanks

The head of the projector should be almost centered in the ring (I tried to take a picture, but it's night and it didn't come out well.)
What you can try doing is seeing if the light/projector is adjusted correctly/can be adjusted? Perhaps it's too far inwards/down? There are adjusters on the back side.

I adjusted the upward/downward knob which pulled them closer to midline but seems off slightly on one side still. Is there a knob to adjust them left to right or just the single one for up and down? Thanks for your help.

I had them replace the whole set. After i further inspected it, the marker bulbs were flip flopped too. So my right head light they were in the bottom and the left head light they were on the top. I was soooo pisssed......

So I recieved the new headlights in yesterday. Went ahead and installed them today along with some HIR hi-beams.
Overall, they improve the look ten fold. The old lens were faded and pitted almost beyond repair so light output was greatly suffering.
These new lights have a pretty clean cutoff and the beam seems well focused. I only had to adjust the driver side so far to match how the OEM lights were adjusted. Also, the fit to my 4runner seems pretty good as well.
Unfortunately, these new lights are not OEM quality. I had to trim the driverside turn signal socket because the pattern on the housing is backwards. Also, on both headlight housings, they left out part of the casting that securely locks in the hi-beam bulb behind the socket. I added a short screw to help hold the bulb in place.
You can see the silver screw I added.

That's what they did... I was wondering why I had to trim the turn signal bulb...
Yeah I noticed there's no stop for the headlamp bulbs as well. But mine fit so nice and snug that as long as I have it set under the tabs it doesn't budge.
