Aftermarket running boards in ND

Hey guys. I have a 2001 SR5. My left OEM running board got damaged last winter when I slid on a patch of black ice.

Should I replace it with another OEM running board, or go to a pair of aftermarket boards? Are the aftermarkets sturdier?

Is there a place in Minot, North Dakota that does such stuff? Thanks.

you can probably find some with google. start with savage offroad, shrockworks, cbi, 4xinnovations, and stubbs welding. i think that about covers your choices. their are probably a few im forgetting

Most of them need to be welded on to the frame.

What color is your 4runner? You can always pick up a used set form someone here. That would be alot cheaper than getting sliders or a new set of OEM's

I have my old green running boards. I was able to pick up a complete set of silver ones for about $40 shipped a few years ago.

Or just go without them like most people here do.
