Aftermarket Wheel Warp

I am running 16x8 V-Tech Raptor wheels, I have done the FJ swap with bilstien 5100's set at 1.75" in the front. I recently purchased BFG all terrains 265/75/16s and now that they are installed, my steering wheel wobbles at 50+ MPH. I took it back to the same tire shop and had the truck aligned and balanced for the second time, still nothing was better. I took it back to the shop telling them it wasn't fixed. They kept it all day and decided my suspension was good, steering linkage was in good shape. The only thing they said was that my CV was leaking grease. Said they rebalanced the tires, STILL wasn't fixed. So again i took it back to the same shop, thinking that I had gotten a bad tire. They decide to tell me after spending $1100+ on the tires and trying to get it fixed, that my WHEELS are warped. I didn't have this problem with the old slick tires I was running previously. I'm going to get a second opinion at another tire shop tomorrow.

Does anyone have any possible explanations or has the "wheel warp" phenomenon ever happened to anyone?

Wheels can warp if under the right conditions (hitting curbs is a good one)

had this happen to my last car...never hit any curbs but it is what it is

i had the shop mount the wheel on the balance machine and i could see the wobble in it...

I replaced the car with my T4R so no issue now! HAHA

yea that's a good solution to most problems, Ive never hit anything either, ill have the shop mount them up so i can see if its warped too, other than that i think the wheels have a lifetime structural warranty, hopefully it will be honored.
