Aftermarket Wheels

i think my 22's would look nice on the 5th gen, but im not into the 5th gen tho, not my taste or style, my 4th gen still better.

Just as an FYI, in case you are not following my thread. Went to a shop that specializes in offroad vehicle customization. They told me that if I go with a 17" x 8" wheel that has 4.5" of Backspace and +10mm to +15mm of Offset that I should not run into any rubbing issues with my BFG 275-70-17s.

Basically that is what the stock rim is.

All 5th Gen Runners are hub centric,4th Gens too.I could'nt find any aftermarket wheels that are hub centric .By the way the hub part that sticks out is 106.8mm.
I just bought a set of the AR ATX Chambers in the Black Teflon today. Love that black teflon. You can put aftermarket wheels that are lug centric as I am. You just have to make sure the hub on the aftermarket wheel is at least 106.8 mm wide and you have to get new conicle lug nuts. You can get hub centric spacers that shim it from 108mm to 106.8mm here... Wheel Hub Centric Rings - buy wheel hub rings online from 1010tires.com but I don't think its needed.

Like these would be the ones that fit our trucks in the ATX thugs 17x8.5 Teflon American Racing ATX Thug 6x5.5 -6 offset 108 hub AX399178583
Here are the ones I bought.17x9 Teflon American Racing ATX Chamber 6x5.5 -12 offset 108 hub AX39857983 I look for wheels that are easy to wash, especially when it's in black.Good prices at this place and they threw in a set of black lug nuts for free when I ordered over the phone.

A pic of the ATX Thugs, alot of spokes and nooks and crannies means harder to wash.

A pic of the ATX Black Teflon Chambers

How do you think these matte black wheels would look on a black SR5? does anyone have pics of this setup? thanks!

I was wondering what everyone thought of a "black" wheel on a Blizzard Pearl 4Runner? I have been looking around for a replacement for the factory 20's. I have seen some 4Runners on the boards that looks great with the black wheels, but I am not sure about the BP. I am interested in the AR Mojave or the AR ATX Thug (possibly the AR ATX Chambers as well).

Also, are there any other wheels (non-black) that everyone likes on a BP? I'm open to all suggestions...

Pictures would be great, if anyone has any!!!

Thanks guys/gals for the suggestions!

Anyone know if ATX Artillerys will fit the 5th gen? At the American Racing "Carfigurator" they do not show up as available choices. I photoshopped the look.

These are the ones that fit, however they are 9 inches wide with the same backspacing as OEM so compared to your 7 inch wide wheels ,they are going to be 2 inches wider track or more outboard. They'll stick out a little ,about 3/4 inch or so. Alot of people running 9 inch wide rims so not that big of deal. Mine are 17x8 with 4.53bs and sit just under flush with edge of fender.

Alot more tire choices and cheaper prices on tires for 17 inch. Here's one of the better and cheaper places to buy online. 17 Inch Teflon Wheel American Racing ATX Artillery 6x5.
Call these people up to verify....They really know wheels and ship fast

@Harper7 what ever happened to those chambers you had ordered? Did they not fit? I really like that look....

Dlak @Harper7 what ever happened to those chambers you had ordered? Did they not fit? I really like that look....

I returned them and ordered the Mojave's. The Chambers fit but they only came in a 17x9 and I decided to go with the 17x8 Mojave's even though my 305 wide BFG's recommended a 8 1/2 inch minimum width rim. I was a little concerned they would come off the rim when aired way down. I called BFG tech and they said it shouldn't be a problem with the KM2's and it hasn't been so far with 12k miles on them.

Elites-Wholesale took them back, no questions asked and even covered the return shipping as long as I was buying another set from them. They were unmounted of course. That's one of the reasons I recommend them. They'll throw in the lugnuts for free too if you ask nice and order on the phone!Keep in mind ,that aftermarket wheels take conical seat lug nuts and the oem ones are standard mag seat and won't work. But do keep a set of 6 oem nuts in your truck in case you need to use the spare.

i really like these wheels and considering put 275/65 on 18x9 rims.

was concerned however about valve stem. it sticks up straight out. Anyone know if this is a problem to transfer the OEM tpm sensors to this type of orientation, or would I have to get new ones. The OEM rims have valve stems that angle out vs these that stick straigth up.

never mind, found my answer. damn! cant use these rims either. tpms not compatible with "straight up' orientation.

I just ordered these rims on Tuesday in a 20" configuration and was looking through the forum and found this post. So i call my wheel place who contcted the manufacturer and they said they are TPMS capitable. I was wondering where you saw they werent because I dont want to get these things and find out I need to wait again since these ones are 30 days out.

I would REALLY like some ATX Ledge rims in Teflon for my 05 salsa red sport edition, but I don't want it to look stupid... Anyone see a combination like this?

I'm really fond of these:

I just wish they came in 17". 18" minimum so I'd have to buy ANOTHER set of tires. :(

Can anyone photoshop those wheels on a black SR5?
