You're gonna love the lights. I used the IPF buckets instead of Roundeyes, but either way the H4 is such a huge improvement over the sealed beams.

:reddance: Sweet. I was looking at the Hella Vision Plus conversion but I decided on these. My Hella 500 fogs are brighter than the sealed beams I have now.

Nice build! I have a 1" body lift in mine, which makes the triple sticks a lot easier to fit in. Minimal cutting.

Thanks! I noticed that in your build. I almost stopped my install to order a body lift lol.

I LOVE the Softopper. If and when the Bestop Supertop on my Tacoma wears out, I am replacing it with a Softopper. Excellent quality, looks, and function.

I found another video from my trip to Gulches. This was the only obstacle I tried that really gave me any trouble. This is the spot that blue Tacoma caned his drive shaft, and that tree gave me a nice dent in the quarter panel

Thanks I appreciate it! This crap adds up quick. People ask me how much I have spent on my trucks and I tell them I don't want to talk about it, lol.

I spent the last couple evenings scrubbing and cleaning my Softopper. It was pretty filthy so it was a lot of work, but worth it.





My alternator and GM 2 wire harness showed up. Hopefully my bracket will come soon.


My HD t-case shifter springs should come tomorrow or Thursday, so I can go down the street without it popping into neutral.

Beating me to the punch..Will be ordering GM bracket and alternator soon as well as f/r bumpers from addicted once i get my 3rz swap motor sold. Also getting my front diff back and headed wheeling in two weeks..it's been wayyy to long!

Nice! I have everything for the swap now except that bracket and wiring. I will have to call Addicted this evening and see where it is at.

I finally got my HD shifter springs put in. I am going to give everything a once-over this evening and drive it to work tomorrow :reddance:

I recieved my Roundeyes H4 headlights and installed them, but won't be able to test them until Thursday. :rain:

The Roundeyes are working great, I got the harness put in from rallylights.com but I still need to get them aimed 100%

Right now I am taking the front of the engine apart to replace the front crankshaft seal. She has started leaking pretty bad so I figure I can fix that and have plenty of room to swap in the new alternator. I will get some pics tomorrow hopefully when I pickup a puller tool, I am hoping I do not have to remove the radiator to get the crank pulley off.

My crank pulley came right off, but if you have to put a puller on it you'll want to pull the radiator.

FWIW, if you pull the radiator you can disconnect the PS bracket and then the coolant hose immediately over the alternator and pull it straight out the top. I don't like trying to wrestle it out the bottom, so as long as you've got a reason to pull the rad anyway I'd do it.

Thanks KidV! Sure enough my crank pulley pulled right off too. I wiped off some of the motor before I decided to start taking it apart but I noticed most of the oil puddling was just behind the crank pulley below the seal, it has been wiped off in these pics.
