Alloy roof rack with sunroof

I've been looking for accessory options (roof rack and bumper someday) that are constructed of aluminum and having a hard time finding any. ARB has an alloy rack, but I want to have open sky showing out if the sunroof. Just wondering if I'm missing another brand it option or if anyone has gone custom or modified the arb. I live and work immediately adjacent to gulf of mexico so aluminum is a must. Thanks.

Just for arguments sake, your truck/car do not have aluminum body panels. I feel a high quality paint job or power coat will suffice for the salty air you are near.

I did a fair amount of research before I bought a Gobi. I've seen the Baja, Arb, Gobi, Thule, Yakima, and a bunch of other junk companies that aren't worth naming. By far, the finish on the Gobi was the most impressive. To be fair, the ARB rack was really nice, but did not fit my needs.

There are others here that can give you an opinion on the Baja.

No doubt the body panels and other items are going to get some rust. I have had good luck with body panels on an 04 ford and rusted out a 98 ford and a 91 suburban. I'm relatively particular about rinsing the undercarriage of my trucks after a beach run and that seems to help. I think newer paint processes are just better too. Thing is on all my trucks rust started first on the roofs. Any chip in the paint was exposed quickly. Maybe from the amount of moisture that sits there every night. A good powder coating should do ok, but I figure a rack will get dings and the rust will begin...be nice not to sweat it. I'd guess a quality rack would be ok with some rust but I'm envisioning streaks of rust running down from roof while the truck is still looking good.

Front Runner has a 1.4m long (55") aluminum grab-on Slimline rack that apparently will fit the 4Runner factory roof rails.

Surco makes the best aluminum rack IMO (if not the only aluminum rack).
I used to run them on my Jeeps all the time because they're super cheap, don't rust, and they make tons of accessories for them.

Didn't know about this one actually. The one I posted was a basket, this looks like a good choice for flat rack too.

I have a Surco OSI bike rack for my vehicle. It is 7 years old and has been used thousands of times. Build quality is first rate. Point is they make quality componentry.

Some good stuff. Thanks for responses. I'm going to go see the guy that did the aluminum on my skiff. I bet he doesn't want to jack with it but a gobi in aluminum....even bright aluminum, would be very cool...prob a very cool price too. I like a quest though.
