Alternative stealth box

Anyone find an alternative lockable box similar to the gobi stealth box preferably something a little less expensive. I know the quality of gobi is up there but $160 seems steep for a box with a lock.

I was thinking the same thing. Especially with the size. Wanted it but couldn't justify it with a new baby and whatnot. So I built my own with stuff I had laying around my shop including the lock and handle.

I knew this would be wanted for production.....not. Its not the best work I've done by any means and its not perfect, but it does the job and didn't cost me anything but paint. Thanks for the props. I couldn't make it much bigger than the Gobi one but did get a few more inches each way.

I like the lock and handle better than the Gobi box. The fact that you can close it without having to lock it is a plus for me. Nice work!

That was the biggest thing I required when I had in mind to build it. Fortunately I had that laying around my shop. Pulled it off a damaged toolbox door we replaced. So out worked out perfect.
